D.B. and D.W., I mean I love you guys.  You’ve done such a great job with the show but really:

#33. Prostitute Ros was originally supposed to be included in one scene, but Benioff and Weiss are obviously fans: “she’s so much fun to watch that she’s become a relatively major character in season two”, the explained. Sexploitation obviously pays off!

Not to rain on anyone’s parade here, but I had quite enough of Ros in the first season, and after reading the books, I don’t understand why her role continues to expand. I mean I like that this actress is bringing a sharpness and bite to this character, but I don’t understand the purpose of this character to begin with, aside from meeting HBO’s quota of superfluous sex scenes. This isn’t like with Natalia Tena (Osha) who plays her role with such ferocity that it’s garnered changes in both the series AND in the upcoming books.  Her gangster is undeniable and proving vital to the plotline.  I don’t see how including Ros enhances the plotline or anything else important in the series.  Can somebody please tell me where she would fit and what would be her purpose in Season 2?  I hope she doesn’t replace Alayaya or I’m gonna be upset.
